PARKING ON THE PAVEMENT/GRASS VERGES
Posted On 20 September 2011
The League is in receipt of correspondence from the Duty Inspector of Harlow Police Station concerning the parking on the grass verges particularly in the Parsloe Road area. The Police have photographic evidence of those that have ignored the law on parking on the pavement and grass verges. The Police have decided that no action will be taken for last Sunday’s game, however they WILL BE issuing parking tickets, which are £30, for those that disobey from now on. Please give consideration when parking to those in wheelchairs and prams who have to go into the road to get past a parked car. This goes for ALL areas where football takes place on a Sunday. Why not car share, thus saving money on petrol and would alleviate the parking problems. Please be advised that you have been warned and if you continue to park on the pavement then you have to pay the consequences.

Litter
Posted On 23 August 2011
This is to advise ALL clubs that the League are in receipt of an email from Harlow Council regarding the amount of litter that is being left at pitch following fixtures. It is the responsibility of the home club to remove ALL rubbish, including spectators rubbish and the away team. Harlow Council have stated that should this behaviour continue the Council will charge the League, who in turn will pass this onto the home team for them to pay or alternatively the Council will take down the goal posts and stop teams playing on them. Please take a bin bag with you to all fixtures and avoid the council taking away the facilities.

Could anyone wishing to contact the League via email please use the following address k.lawrence3@ntlworld.com. The reason for this is that emails can be answered within minutes, in most cases, rather than having to go to the office which could take 24 hours to respond.

Registrations Secretary
Posted On 30 June 2011
Please note all paperwork for registrations and transfers for Leah is to be posted/handed into Dimond House as Leah will operate the registrations from league HQ. It has been bought to the attention of the League that there are some clubs that have already been attempting to sign on players for season 2011-2012 using the current registration forms. This is to advise all clubs that all previous registrations and transfer forms have been discarded as a new format for registrations had been designed and all clubs will be given these on the night of the AGM. Any club that produces a players registration form on the previous form will be discarded and dealt with as the Management Committee deem suitable. The League would also like to advise all clubs that this season ALL players will need to provide 2 up to date photographs, one signed on the back.

RUBBISH LEFT AT PITCHES
Posted On 27 October 2009
The League have received a letter from the Enforcement Officer of Harlow Town Council regarding the state of the pitches are left in after fixtures are played on a Sunday.  The letter states that they have the power to enforce Fixed Penalty fines of £80 per individual and can restrict the use of the grounds to the League.  The Enforcement Officer will be going around to all pitches on a Sunday morning and as the League do not wish the Council to withdraw the facilities Clubs are informed that all rubbish whether left by spectators or players is to be removed immediately.  All clubs are advised to take a refuge bag with them.
